All of this is worrying; not least the state of the Church of England. But there are areas where the Church has disappeared; North Africa, for example. It has been obliterated by Islam. Same in Turkey where the former Christian cities of Ephesus, Colossi, Smyrna etc, no longer exist or have Turkish names. It could happen here too.
💯 well said. I think that the Adversary, and his minions are probably congratulating themselves on all that they've managed to achieve in the past two centuries. They're time is short.
A sad indictment of present day society. I grew up in the CofE high church. It was the spiritual, cultural and social centre of parish life. Not quite a fire and brimstone upbringing but Rector ruled absolutely. I once asked my mother if he had a wife? she replied he wore a wedding ring because he was married to the church.
I've completely lost faith in that position now, gone are the days of Pope John Paul II, we’re left with limp wristed pretenders paying lip service to our faith, while they open the gates to let the barbarians enter.

Beautiful word, brother.
This spiritual war wages on. God has won, is winning and will win. Alleluya. Thank you for this deep analysis, so encouraging Bishop Dewar.
Thank you for speaking up for the truth Bish
Beautiful words. Your words give me strength. Thank you.
Spot on

Thank you Bishop. I love reading your posts. God bless you
An excellent article, brother Bishop! A word for our times.

Excellent. And spot on. A prophetic rallying call.
“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
If more people don't engage with what's going on, then it's a certainty it will happen in the UK 😥
